Solace farm was created in an attempt to escape the suburban sprawl and give Pam a chance to "get away from it all" and to allow her to raise the animals she's always wanted to have.
She started with Ostriches (Which are currently being boarded in Oklahoma because of their aggressive nature) and then purchased some standard donkeys to protect them. The rest of the animals just started trickling in, until she realized she had a "real" farm. Solace farm is located in Royce City, Texas, about 30 miles northeast of Dallas. It is positioned on 65 acres in Hunt County. Pam still maintains a "real job" in Downtown Dallas, but hopes to one day devote all her time to the farm.
